Having created a handful of maps for the third edition of Christie’s World Encyclopedia of Champagne and Sparkling Wine in 2013, vW Maps was asked to illustrate the geography of the world’s great sparkling wine regions for the book’s fourth edition.

The new maps show
~ the area of Champagne wine production including its subregions
~ how the Champagne AOC has changed shape in recent years
~ where Champagne’s Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines hail from
~ four maps of Italy’s renowned Prosecco, Franciacorta and Trentodoc regions
~ the geography of Spain’s Cava.

The book is authored by Tom Stevenson and Essi Avellan MW. The new edition was published in November 2019 by Bloomsbury Absolute, an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing Plc.
